Spinach wrap

Instructions
On warm tortilla, put torn up spinach, sprouts, guacamole, tomtoes, mushrooms, asiago cheese, and pico de gallo to taste.

Red, White, & Yellow Spinach Wrap

1 bag saffron rice mix (5 oz) (Mahatma)
2 tblspoons Vegetable oil
1 each White onion sliced
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
4 large Tortilla
1/4 pound spinach leaves cleaned & trimmed
1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
1 each Green bell pepper sliced
1 each Red bell pepper sliced

Instructions
Prepare rice acording to package directions. While rice is cooking,
heat oil in medium skillet. Saute peppers and onion. Remove from
skillet, set aside. In same pan, brown chicken breasts on both
sides, cooking until Lay tortillas on flat surface. Line each with
spinach leaves.

Divide rice in 4 equal parts, spreading evenly over spinach. Add
equal amounts of sauteed vegetables on rice. Add sliced chicken
& cheese. Roll tortillas. Wrap in butcher paper or foil.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped
  • 3/4 cups quinoa
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cups frozen corn kernels
  • 2 15 ounce cans black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cups chopped fresh cilantro

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir onion and garlic until lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
  2. Mix quinoa into onion mixture and cover with vegetable broth; season with cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until quinoa is tender and broth is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
  3. Stir frozen corn into the saucepan, and continue to simmer until heated through, about 5 minutes; mix in the black beans and cilantro.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoons black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Store in an airtight container.

Guacamole

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Haas avocados halved, seeded and peeled
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoons cayenne
  • 1/2 medium onion diced
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper seeded and minced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl place the scooped avocado pulp and lime juice, toss to coat. Drain, and reserve the lime juice, after all of the avocados have been coated. Using a potato masher add the salt, cumin, and cayenne and mash. Then, fold in the onions, jalapeno, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic. Add 1 tablespoon of the reserved lime juice. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour and then serve.

Custom Meatloaf

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 3 oz tomato paste
  • 2 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/2 can diced petite tomatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/4 oatmeal
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cups chopped onions
  • Black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Add ground meat, tomato paste, tomato sauce, oatmeal, garlic, and chopped onions to bowl. Shred in carrot to amount desired and add black pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly and then add to baking pan, smoothing flat. Add diced tomatoes to top of meatloaf, spreading evenly. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.

Notes

Will try more onions, spices, celery.
Second try had about 1/2 zucchini per pound and 1/8 a cup of cilantro or so. Zucchini should be shredded possibly, maybe up oatmeal to 1/3 and no more if any cilantro. Also tasted bumpy since Joshua didn't smooth out top.

Speaking of antioxidants, this smoothie is a powerhouse of anti-aging, disease-fighting superstars. If you want to tone it down a bit, toss in a couple of tomatoes or cucumbers.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 head cabbage
  • 1 kale leaf
  • 1 beet
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 cups water

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients and blend. If you'd like, add a pinch or two of sea salt for flavor and mineral boost, or perhaps cayenne for the extra antioxidant pop from the capsaicin.
  2. Yield: About 3 cups.

Notes

Was a little chewy and pretty much ate the last of it but might of put to much carrot in. A little spicy.

Ingredients
  

  • 320 grams pineapple peeled
  • 162 grams celery
  • 226 grams cucumber

Method
 

  1. Cut the pineapple into 1-inch pieces. Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
  2. Yield: About 3 cups.

Notes

Tastes great, especially if you get the proportions right.

Mods: 320 grams pineapple, 226 grams cucumber, 162 grams celery.   
Might be able to tone down pineapple some,  Tried protein powder which probably didn't help though half as much might work.  Also cucumber was old but still ok.

  • 1 Green Apple cored and quartered
  • 6 asparagus tips
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cucumber quartered
  • 1/2 cups water

Method
 

  1. Add the apple and asparagus to the blender, and pulse until they are in chunks. Toss in the remaining ingredients, and puree until it reaches the desired texture. This one may be a little chewy and will keep you full for hours.
  2. Yields about 3 1/2 to 4 cups.

Notes

Half for drink blender if need be. Tastes pretty good.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Green Bill Pepper de-stemmed and seeded
  • 1 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cucumber quartered
  • 1/4 head cabbage

Method
 

  1. Bleed all greens together in the order listed. If you feel it tastes too rich, add a bit more cucumber. All of these ingredients work well independently as detoxifiers, but together they create a real powerhouse.

Notes

Cut in half for smoothie blender.
